Hello, I am a descendant of the Bobby family in Shelfanger. From what I gather, they were there many generations. I live in America, my great-grandmother having come over the Atlantic around 1900. (Her mother was a Bobby.) Are there still Bobbys in Shelfanger today? Also, does your town have a Historical Society or Historian that might tell me a bit more about the Bobby family? Apparently they lived in Shelfanger since at least the late 17th - early 18th Century, though it would not surprise me if they had lived there many more years.
