Parish Council

About the Parish Council The Parish Council is made up of villagers who wish to do their best for  the community of Shelfanger. Meetings are held every two months at Shelfanger Village Hall and  members of the Public are welcome to attend.  There is always 10 minutes Public Speaking time when any matters which are causing concern can be brought to the attention of the Council.

In line with the new Government guidelines concerning Coronavirus and the increasing number  of cases across the country, the Chair of Shelfanger Parish Council deems it necessary to keep both Councillors and the public safe so there will be no Parish Council meetings for the foreseeable future.  Work continues behind the scenes and various notices of interest will be displayed online and on the Parish Council notice board.    Shelfanger's current and historic planning applications can be accessed online at

Mr Beverley Spratt is aware of this situation and is happy about it.
